Abstract:
“Blind” deconvolution is rarely executed blindly. All available methods have parameters which the user fine-tunes until the most visually-appealing reconstruction is achieved. The “art” of deconvolution is to find constraints which allow for the best estimate of an object to be recovered, but in practice these parameterized constraints often reduce deconvolution to the struggle of trial and error.
